Our notion is one of restorative action and not punitive (albeit if the matter warrants, we have procedures to follow and will do so). Should there be a case of bullying (and we establish this as an isolated incident), we will engage with the children concerned and inform the relevant parents to address it fully. Our teachers or pastoral staff will give feedback to parents until the matter is resolved and then check in on the children to ensure that all is well. Should a case require escalation, the Headteacher will meet with the parents concerned and indicate any punitive measures in line with our Code of Conduct.
